Reflection for 2015

This is my first reflection for 2015 please make a comment on my blog and leave some feedback on it hope you like it.

    What :    In reading I was reading how to be a kiwi,  our WALT was identifying the author's purpose by looking for clues, finding evidence to support my thinking. Making connections with your prior knowledge.

So what :   Help me understand the text, evaluate the author’s thinking, thinking beyond the surface features of the story and other stories.

Now what :   Use this strategy when reading other text or story to help me with my learning in McCahon class for 2015 and use it to help my learning at home.

 This is my goal setting for Friday the 25Th of Feb this is really important on Friday but I am also posting it.

Explanation writing

This is my first explanation writing. I think I did very well it was a little bite easy

because every part of it is very easy but some parts you really got to think I hope you like it.

How to be a positive learn in mcCahon class, you have to be open-minded and support each other in everything. You never talk well a teacher is talking and all always be self-directed. And always have a growth minded set at all times. I am going to explain how to be a positive learn in McCahon Class.

 

How to be a self-directed learner in McCahon Class, you need to always be organised and always be planned for the day.You need to be in charge of your learning, and when you need  help you know where to get it from.When you need help you always have to ask your check in partner and if they can’t help you you ask the teacher.

Having a growth minded set in McCahon Class is really important because your minded will get bigger, but if you have a fixed minded set your minded will just stay the same. But the growth minded set makes you smarter and more talented in your learning.

    

The learner profile is the most important thing in McCahon Class because if you don't use two of them, you won’t become a real person and that is really bad in McCahon Class because we are really getting, ready for Intermediate. We have 10 words in our learn profile if we do all of it well will be a successful  learn.       

Well that's the end of my writing we were talking about How to be a self-directed learn, have a growth minded set and the learner profile.

2015 is here!

We are in week 2 of Term 1!
I am loving my new class and Mrs Kingston we have a really great start to the year.It is really great to be back at school.On the first week of school we did a word cloud and it was amazingly fun, Here is my word cloud.I hope you like it. Enjoy the rest of the year.
