Explanation writing: How to survive your first night in minecraft

In Week 6 of Term 1 our class focussed on how to write great explanations. We wrote about how to survive your first night in Minecraft (the game a lot of us are obsessed with!). Here is my writing, after I have self-assessed and peer-assessed my work.

Have you ever wonder how to survive your first night in minecraft? If you have your in luck because I’m going to tell you right now.

The first to surviving your first night in minecraft is to get a lot of wood. You need wood to build your house and craft tools also you have to get a lot of meat and most of the food comes from the pigs they are most by the mountains and the jungels. And craft a bow and arrow for your first night to kill a pig for dinner. When I say kill pigs I mean I am killing a pig.

The second thing that you need to have to survive your first night in minecraft is to find a place to camp and to sleep the mean places are a hill or a tree you can also dig into a mountain the reason I would build it in a tree is cause when theres a mob  around you will be able to sleep zombies are the worst ones for me and creepers.     

Thirdly, what you need is a bed so that you can sleep on it at night and you also need shelter so the mob doesn't get you when you sleep you can get shelter from trees and other kind of blocks.
